Project Description
When the NHS had a problem they approached Urban Design to assist them with the design of two very modern and unique smokers shelters. Designed to match the exterior cycle shelters the design was a decorated mild steel Y frame work with curved roof members covered with solid clear polycarbonate sheeting, fixed using aluminium polyester powder coated glazing straps. Support legs were taken to concrete foundation bases below ground level. All steelwork decorated in a heavy duty exterior grade metallic enamel paint system.
