W26 Supported Glass Roof Walkway Offices Loughborough

The enclosed walkway provided an economical solution to connecting various buildings on the office development. The walkway was fabricated entirely from heavy duty CHS members. Support legs are taken down to concrete foundation bases below ground level and horizontal bracing were fixed back to the main structure. Glazing to the vertical walls and roof area is by the use of ‘anti sun blue’ toughened safety glass panels supported by stainless steel planar type fixings throughout. All steel work is decorated using our standard heavy duty exterior grade enamel paint system. A rear integral gutter system completed the design.
