W32 Fully Enclosed Glass Walkway Bus Station Chesterfield

The enclosed walkway provided an economical solution to providing an enclosed waiting area for a large bus station development. The walkway was fabricated entirely from heavy duty mild steel members. Support legs are taken down to concrete foundation bases below ground level and horizontal bracings were fixed back to the main structure by resin anchor fittings. Glazing to the vertical walls is by the use of clear toughened safety glass panels supported by stainless steel planar type fixings throughout and to the roof are in a aluminium polyester powder coated patent glazing bar system. The combination of the two systems created a robust, functional and attractive waiting area. Vinyl identification logos and visibility markers were added to the design. All steel work is decorated using our standard heavy duty exterior grade enamel paint system. A front integral gutter system and suitable down pipes completed the design.
