W33 Supported Enclosed Glass Walkway Airport Bristol

The enclosed walkway provided an economical solution to connecting various areas on the airport development. The walkway was fabricated entirely from heavy duty mild steel members. Support legs are taken down to concrete foundation bases below ground level and the structure was entirely free standing. Glazing to the vertical walls and roof area is by the use of clear toughened safety glass panels supported by stainless steel planar type fixings throughout. Composite roof coverings and lighting were added by the main contractor. All steelwork is decorated using our standard heavy duty exterior grade enamel paint system.
