Urban Design & Developments, Street Structures Division, were instructed to design, manufacture and install a external stainless steel staircase at the service station in Beaconsfield. The staircase in Beaconsfield is made up of stainless steel with a galvanised finish. The structure is supported by 100 x 100 x 8 shs columns that have been fixed into the concrete. The stainless steel posts and handrails are 42 diameter chs tubes that are situated on either side of the staircase. To the landing of the project is 41/100 open mesh flooring that has been fixed to the 40 x 5 main transverse bars. The structure is also made up from 80 x 80 x 5 shs steel diagonal braces as well as 300 x 100 PFC either side of the staircase. Our works here at Beaconsfield Services are still on going as we are set to design, manufacture and install a internal staircase and balustrade here.
