A safe, high-quality balcony solution designed to enhance everyday living in retirement accommodation.

As part of the new retirement living village development, we were appointed to supply and install a complete balcony stack system across multiple residential blocks. The scheme required a consistent, well-coordinated solution that would integrate seamlessly with the façade while prioritising resident safety, comfort, and long-term durability.

"Creating private outdoor spaces where residents can relax, enjoy fresh air, and feel at home"

Working closely with the main contractor and design team, we delivered a fully co-ordinated balcony package designed to suit the repetitive nature of stacked residential elevations. The system was engineered to ensure structural efficiency, clean alignment across all floors, and reliable long-term performance in a high-use residential environment.

Designed around residents. Built for everyday use.

The balcony areas form an important part of the residents’ daily living space, providing private external areas for relaxation, fresh air, and connection to the outdoors. With this in mind, particular attention was given to accessibility, comfort underfoot, and secure perimeter protection, ensuring each balcony feels safe and usable for all occupants.

Across the development, consistency was critical. Each balcony was installed to tight tolerances to maintain a uniform appearance across the elevation, contributing to a clean architectural rhythm while supporting the overall design intent of the scheme.

Coordinated installation. Reliable delivery.

Due to the multi-storey nature of the development, installation sequencing was carefully planned in line with structural progress. This ensured efficient delivery on site, minimised disruption to other trades, and maintained programme alignment across all blocks.

Our site teams worked closely with project leaders to manage setting-out, fixings, and interface details, ensuring each balcony stack was installed accurately and in line with design requirements.

A cohesive residential solution.

The completed works deliver a consistent and robust balcony system across the retirement village, providing residents with safe, practical external spaces that enhance day-to-day living. The balcony stacks also contribute significantly to the overall appearance of the buildings, adding depth and structure to the façades while maintaining a refined, residential aesthetic.

The result is a durable, well-executed balcony package that supports both the architectural vision of the development and the quality of life of those living within it
